Barbara Ann Baylis

Barbara Ann Baylis, 75, of Hollywood, South Carolina, wife of Norman Stanton Baylis Jr., entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, December 13, 2022. Her memorial service will be held Wednesday, December 21, 2022 in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. West Ashley Chapel at 1:00 pm, and the family will receive friends beginning one hour prior.

Barbara was born May 27, 1947 in Burlington, Vermont, daughter of the late Francis Sherman Woods and Fanny Cobb Barrett Woods. She loved sewing, crocheting, and crafting.   

In addition to her husband, Barbara is survived by her daughter, Sarah Ann Baylis Toomey (Thomas); son, Paul Joseph Baylis (Jody); grandchildren, Adam John Toomey, Benjamin Joseph Toomey (Samantha Catteral), Dylan Thomas Stump (Zach), and Cassidy Baylis; great-grandchildren, Molly Blanchard and Greyson Thomas Toomey; brother, Richard George Woods (Carol Love); sister, Cora-lee Marie Woods Lansing (Michael); as well as many loved nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her sister, Frances LaVigne.
