Aurelio Bamba Cui

PO2 Aurelio Bamba Cui, USN (Ret.), 82, of Ladson, SC, passed away Wednesday, May 17, 2017. His funeral service, with military honors, will be held Monday, May 22, 2017 in the Plantation Memorial Gardens, 3345 South Live Oak Drive at 11:00 am. The family will receive friends Sunday, May 21, 2017, in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

Aurelio was born July 9, 1934 in Cavite City, Philippines, son of the late Louis Figuracion Cui and the late Asuncion Bamba Cui. He was a Vietnam and Korean War Veteran. Aurelio was a member of Fleet Reserve Chapter #50 and a Head Deacon of Church of Christ (Iglesia Ni Cristo) in North Charleston.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Lucy B. Cui of Ladson, SC; two sisters, Leticia Galang, Cecilia Castro; two brothers, Adolfo Cui, Louis Cui, Jr. all of CA; son, Christopher A. Brown of Brunswick, ME; nieces, Deanna C. Murdorf of Boise, ID, Tisha Cui-Castro Ward of Summerville, SC; nephews, Don Cui of Cadillac, MI, Dan Cui of Barrington, NH; three grandchildren and many more loving nieces, nephews, Cousins, in-laws and a host of longtime friends.
