Entered into eternal rest on the evening of July 23, 2010, August Fred Doscher, widower of Clarine Midgette Doscher.  Residence, Eufaula, AL, formerly of Charleston, SC. The relatives and friends of August Fred Doscher are invited to attend his funeral services, Monday, July 26, 2010 at two o'clock , Graveside at Bethany Cemetery. 

Fred was born on September 1, 1924 in Charleston, SC, the son of William J.F. Doscher and Adeline Mohlmann Doscher.  He was a graduate of the College of Charleston and earned his Master's Degree at the University of North Carolina.  He was in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a retired supervisor of the Pulp Mill at Alabama Paper Company.  He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church.

He is survived by his brother: Jack M. (Lena) Doscher of Charleston, SC; and numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.  He was predeceased by his brother, William J.F. Doscher, Jr.
