Audrey W. Moore

Audrey W. Moore, 93, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina and former resident of Rock Hill, SC, wife of the late William W. Moore, entered into eternal rest Sunday, April 9, 2023. All services will be private.  Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Mount Pleasant Chapel.

Audrey was born January 30, 1930 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Eugene Watson and Ruth Kelso Watson.

This special lady was raised in Pittsburgh, and spent the greater part of her adult life caring for her family, teaching special needs children in Columbus OH, Upper Arlington OH and later in Rock Hill, SC.   With her kindness and compassion, as a wonderful loving mother and wife, Audrey was an award winning volunteer in Rock Hill supporting the historical preservation society and the RH Women’s Club.  Teaching was her passion. It would be difficult to measure her immense dedication and loyal support to her Alma Mater, The Ohio State University and for her fellow Buckeye friends.

She is survived by her daughter, Gwenn M. Kessler of Mount Pleasant, SC.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Bill, son Jeffrey Moore and daughter Wendy Moore.
