Artie Lee Dale, 91, of Hanahan, SC, died Sunday, March 18, 2018. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, March 23, 2018 in the Divine Redeemer Catholic Church, 1106 Fort Drive, Hanahan, SC at 10:00 am. Prayers of Final Commendation and Farewell will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel.

Artie was born November 5, 1926 in Rome, GA, daughter of the late Nobel Drennon and the late Flora Martin Drennon. She was a member of Divine Redeemer Catholic Church.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, George Edward Dale, Jr. of Hanahan, SC; son, Thomas Lee O'brien (Roberta) of Utawville, SC; three grandchildren: Sherie Morris (Dale) of Moncks Corner, SC, Shawn O'brien (Chrissy) of Hanahan, SC and Shea Maclaren of Summerville, SC; 8 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Malcolm Drennon of Jedburg, SC; sister-in-law, Trudy Drennon of Hanahan, SC; two nieces, Dee Dee Criddle and Monica Wood; sisters-in-law, Marion and Jean; brother-in-law, Thomas. She was preceded in death by her parents and several brothers.
