Arthur William Sapp

Entered into eternal rest on the afternoon of December 24, 2011, Arthur William Sapp, husband of Maria Victoria Sapp. Residence, Moncks Corner, SC. The relatives and friends of Mr. Sapp are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Thursday, December 29th, 2011, at 11o'clock at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 510 St. James Avenue, Goose Creek.

Mr. Sapp was born on, July 19, 1940, in Lyons, NY, the son of the late Anthony William Sapp and the late Matilda Elizabeth Maira. As a young man he worked with his family's grocery store. He earned his first Masters Degree from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY, and his second Masters Degree from Catholic University in Washington, D.C. He taught in the New York State public school system for more than 30 years. Mr. Sapp was an avid reader, and a wonderful, loving family man.

He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Maria Victoria; three daughters: Mary K. Sapp of West Sand Lake, NY; Michele Sapp Clark (Marc), Hudson, NY; Emma Diaz Rodriguez (Daniel) of Charlotte, NC; grandchildren: Jeanette Gabriel, Haley Clark, Brennan Clark, Zoey Marie Sapp; a brother Ronald Sapp (Valerie) of Naples, FL; a sister, Charlene R. Allman (Richard) of Summerville, SC; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
