Arthur Christopher Lacour of Huger, SC, passed away peacefully Tuesday, May 29, 2012 in Mt. Pleasant. The relatives and friends of Arthur Christopher Lacour are invited to attend his Memorial Service at 3:00 PM Monday, June 4, 2012 in J. HENRY STUHR MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL.
Burial will follow in Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:30-3:00 PM.
Born August 25, 1958 in Atlanta, Georgia, Arthur was the son of Lona Cawley Lacour and the late Albert A. Lacour, Jr. He was a 1977 graduate of Wando High School and was part of the start up crew at Amoco Chemicals. He was employed as a Process Technician for 20 years.
Survivors include his mother Lona C. Lacour of Anderson, SC; sons: Arthur C. Lacour, Jr. and wife Kelly of Mt. Pleasant and Nicholas A. Lacour of Mt. Pleasant; brother Albert A. Lacour, III and wife Laura of Charleston; sister Lona Ann Lacour and husband Joseph Schmitt of N. Charleston; former wife Barbara H. Connor and husband Bill of Mt. Pleasant; brother in Christ and devoted friend Michael Hatfield and wife Kathleen of Mt. Pleasant; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to Roper/St Francis Foundation, 125 Doughty St., Suite 790, Charleston, SC 29403.
