Arthur Alan Brinker

Arthur Alan Brinker, 51, of Hanahan, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Tuesday, June 2, 2015. His Funeral Service will be held Friday, June 5, 2015 in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Downtown Chapel, 232 Calhoun Street, at 11:00 a.m. Interment, Bethany Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Alan was born January 26, 1964 in Charleston, South Carolina, son of Arthur "Bones" Franklin Brinker and Iris Rogers Brinker. He worked as a machinist at Bosch for over 20 years. Alan enjoyed football and baseball and attending his niece's swim meets. He was a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church.

He is survived by his son, Arthur James Brinker of Hanahan, SC; his mother, Iris Rogers Brinker of Hanahan, SC; sister, Karen Brinker Pregnall (Wally) of Charleston, SC; and his niece, Katherine Iris Geils.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Matthew's Lutheran Church Capital Campaign Fund, 405 King Street, Charleston, SC 29403.
