Arnnette Coffey Detyens

Arnnette Coffey Detyens, 84, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Friday, April 7, 2023.  The family will receive friends Tuesday, April 11, 2023 in J.Henry Stuhr, Inc., Mt. Pleasant Chapel from 10:00 to 11:00 am . The funeral service will be held in Magnolia Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel 70 Cunnington Ave. Charleston, SC. at 11:30 am.  Entombment following will be in Magnolia Cemetery. 

Arnnette was born January 25, 1939 in Conover, South Carolina, daughter of the late Arnold Justine Coffey and Eloise Smith Coffey.  She was a member of the Daughters of the Confederacy, Daughters of the American Revolution and Daughters of the Nile.

She is survived by three sons, George Avinger Detyens (Lynn) of Sullivans Island, SC, William Ronald Detyens, Jr. of Mt. Pleasant, SC and Rutledge Anthony Detyens of Charleston, SC; seven grandchildren, Katrina D. Watson, Catherine D. Phillips, George Detyens Jr., William Detyens III, Rutledge Detyens, Jr., Amanda Detyens and Elliott Marvin; three great-granddaughters, Marie Watson, Clare Watson, Scarlett Phillips; two great-grandsons, James Watson, Johnson Phillips.  In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter, Tracy Marvin.
