Armond "Bud" Richard Wagner, Jr., 71, of Charleston, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Thursday, September 10, 2015. His Funeral Service will be held Thursday,September 17, 2015, in St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 1695 Wallenberg Blvd., at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 16, 2015, in J. HENRY STUHR INC WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
Bud was born August 1, 1944 in Clarksburg, West Virginia, son of the late Armond R.Wagner, Sr. and Lillian Smith Wagner. He was a Vietnam Era Veteran while serving as a medic with the U.S. Army and former owner of Photography by Wagner. Bud was retired from St. Andrews Fire Department as the Fire Marshall. He was an avid bowler, enjoyed coaching Little League baseball and umpired all sports at St. Andrew's Parks and playgrounds and also was the official St. Andrew's Parks and Playgrounds photographer for all sports. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
He is survived by his brother, Marvin D. Wagner and his wife, Ellen, of Charleston, SC; two nephews: Jeffrey Wagner and his wife, Dana, and their children, Lilly and Jeffrey Wagner and David Wagner and his wife, Patricia, and their children, Michael and Marissa Wagner; paternal aunt, Ovanell Corriher and her husband, Paul; maternal aunt, Louise Smith; his extended family, Kevin Coughtry and his mother, Janet Jennings (Jerry), and numerous cousins.
