Archie Walters Johnson, 64, of Huger, SC, husband of Debra J.Johnson died Tuesday, August 13, 2013. The relatives and friends of Archie Johnson are invited to attend his Funeral Service at the graveside on Thursday, August 15, 2013 in Halfway Creek Cemetery, 5359 Halfway Creek Road, Huger, SC at 11:00 am. The family will receive friends in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL on Wednesday, August 14, 2013 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Archie was born on June 10, 1949 in Charleston, SC. He was a self employed carpenter working in the construction industry and loved to spend time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Debra J. Johnson of Huger, SC; four daughters, Kathy Rodgers and her husband, Sean, of Goose Creek, SC, Lynn Gardner and her husband, Jamie, of Awendaw, SC, Cindy Benack and her husband, Kurt, of Moncks Corner, SC, Mildred Quinlan and her husband, Ryan, of Huger, SC; nine grandchildren and one great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his son, Archie Walters Johnson, Jr.
