Anthony F. Schiffiano, 91, of North Charleston, SC died Friday, January 27, 2012, in a local hospital.

Born February 11, 1920 in Adams Run, SC he was the son of Anthony Schiffiano and Janie Harley Schiffiano. He attended Bishop England and Trident Technical College. He was a retired electronic test equipment inspector at the Charleston Air Force Base PMEL Lab with 30 years of service. Mr. Schiffiano was a former member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. He was a Trident Technical College instructor for television and radio repair.

Mr. Schiffiano is survived by his sons, Tony F. Schiffiano and his wife Anne and Michael W. Schiffiano and his wife Cathy; daughters, Angela Dorsey and her husband Jesse and Suzzette Schiffiano and her husband David Conner; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 37 years Margaret and son, William J. Schiffiano.

The funeral service will be held at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway, Monday, January 30, 2012 at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends in Stuhr's West Ashley Chapel Sunday, January 29, 2012 between 6:00 and 8:00 pm.
