Annie Mitchum Williams, 93, of North Charleston, South Carolina, widow of Ronald Howard Williams entered into eternal rest Sunday, January 12, 2014. Her Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, January 15, 2014 in Cooper River Baptist Church,1059 Crawford Street at 12:00 p.m. Interment, Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Tuesday in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. North Area Chapel (2119 Dorchester Rd.) from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Annie was born January 14, 1920 in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of William Lawless Mitchum and Theresa Driggers Mitchum. She was a Dietician for the Charleston County School District at Garrett High School, a charter member of Cooper River Baptist Church and active in her community.
She is survived by her 2 grandchildren; Lisa W. Blewer of North Charleston, SC, Amy W. Galleguillos of Fort Mill, SC; 4 great-grandchildren, Brittany C. Blewer, Bella Galleguillos, Hayden Galleguillos, Jason Galleguillos, 2 brothers; Hugh T. Mitchum of Charleston, SC, Thaddus L. Mitchum of Charleston, SC, 4 sisters; Ivey M. Turley of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Inez M. Locke of Charleston, SC, Silvine M. Patierno of Charleston, SC, Faye M. Bolin of Ridgeville, SC and a special friend James L. Smith. She is predeceased by a son Randy Howard Williams, a sister Gladys M. Cade and a brother Bernett W. Mitchum.
