Annie Driggers Rumph

November 21, 1914 — January 1, 2011

Entered into eternal rest on the morning of January 1, 2011, Annie Driggers Rumph, widow of Winston W. Rumph.  Residence, Charleston, SC.  The relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service, Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at 11:00 am at Asbury-St. James United Methodist Church. Interment, Rumph Cemetery, Dorchester County, SC.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to service at the church.


Annie was born November 21, 1914, in Moncks Corner, SC the daughter of Stephen Devoe Driggers and Alice Burbage Driggers. Annie was a graduate of M.U.S.C. School of Practical Nursing and retired Practical Nurse she was a member of Asbury- St. James United Methodist Church.


She is survived by her daughter Sherryl Connelly Turner of Charleston, SC; two grandchildren, Ronald Andrew Turner (Jessica) and Stacy Aaron Turner; two great grandchildren, David Turner and Iris Turner; two sisters, Betty Hall of Moncks Corner, SC and Laverne Rajterowski of Mobile, AL; and former son-in-law Lee O. Turner
