Annie "Pearl" Cannon Kimbrell, 77, of Wando, South Carolina, widow of the late Bobby Lee Kimbrell died Tuesday, March 12, 2019 peacefully, in her home surrounded by family. Her Funeral Service will be held Sunday, March 17, 2019 at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow in Mt. Pleasant Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 17, 2019 in the Mount Pleasant Chapel from 1:00 pm until time of the service.
Pearl was born January 22, 1942 in Conway, South Carolina, daughter of the late Rufus L. Cannon and the late Hazel Brown Cannon. She was a homemaker, loved shopping, antiquing, making floral arrangements and spending time with her family and friends. She had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh. She loved animals and passed that love to her children and grandchildren.She was also a former member of Easthaven Baptist Church. The wonderful help received through Roper Hospice, and caregivers Lisa and Ruth, allowed her daughters to care for her in her home until the end, which was her greatest wish.
She is survived by daughter, Katherine K. McDonald (Philip) of Mt. Pleasant, SC and Bobbie Michelle Tumbleston (Clint) of Wando, SC; eight grandchildren, Sean McDonald, Jason McDonald, Victoria McDonald, Courtney Logan Tumbleston, Nicholas McDonald (Caroline), Kristen McDonald, Hannah Tumbleston, James Cooper Tumbleston and Nyia McDonald. And many nieces and nephews that were dear to her. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Lonnie Cannon, Douglas Cannon and Tony Cannon and one sister Betty Haynes.
