Annie Lucille Deas Lewis, 91, of Charleston, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, February 9, 2022. Her graveside funeral service will be held Sunday, February 13, 2022 in the Live Oak Memorial Gardens, 3093 Ashley River Rd, at 2:00 pm. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Pkwy.
Annie Lucille was born March 22, 1930 in Florence, South Carolina, daughter of the late Robert Deas and Mammie Curry Deas. She was a long time member of Pinecrest Baptist Church. She was an excellent cook and baker, and she enjoyed sharing her talent with friends and family, especially during the holidays. She loved flowers, gardening, and her family.
She is survived by her daughters, Karan Lewis of Charleston, Kimberly Lynn Lewis of Charleston, and Kathrine Schnurr of Myrtle Beach; her grandchildren; and her great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lenzy Russell Lewis; daughter, Marilyn Kay Reardon; 2 sisters, Virginia Wilson and Creola Hicks; and a brother, Robert "Bubba" Deas.
