Annie Dorothy Davis

Annie Dorothy Davis, 89, of Charleston, SC, widow of the late Boyd Boston Davis, entered into eternal rest Monday, October 9, 2023. Her Funeral Service will be held Thursday, October 12, 2023 in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 11:00 am. The family will receive friends Wednesday October 10, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., West Ashley Chapel. Her Graveside Service will be held on October 12, 2023 at Red Hill Cemetery, Grays, SC at 2:00 PM.

Annie was born January 7, 1934 in Walterboro, South Carolina, daughter of the late Gus E. Hiers and Winnie Ann Craven. She was a Sunday school teacher, an avid reader and loved to fish, garden, and enjoyed opera music. 

She is survived by two sons, Jimmy L. Davis and Ray T. Davis (Alicia), both of Charleston, SC; two daughters, Carolyn J. Davis, of Charleston SC and Lynda A. Maddox (Leon) of Savannah, GA; five grandchildren and one great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Jeannie Crosby of Walterboro, SC and son, Harold B. Davis.
