Annie Hawkins Coulter, 71, of Charleston, South Carolina, widow of John William Coulter entered into eternal rest Monday, October 24, 2016. Her Mass of Christian Burial Service will be held Thursday, October 27, 2016 in Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 5 St. Teresa Drive at 12:00 Noon. The family will receive friends in the church from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Prayers of Final Commendation and Farewell will follow in Live Oak Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by J. Annie was born January 2, 1945 in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of the late Leslie Hawkins and Marjorie Scarborough Hawkins. She was a retired accountant with the University Medical Associates. Annie was a volunteer with Habitat for Humanity, Camp Happy Days, and Camp Bob Cooper. She loved to shag, enjoyed fishing, and spending time at the lake. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
She is survived by her three sons, Bryan Coulter (Denise) of Charleston, SC, Dwayne Coulter of Simpsonville, SC, and Robbie Coulter (Tracy) of Summerville, SC; two daughters, Karen Coulter Ford (Jimmy) of Charleston, SC, Robbin Cullum (Rudy) of Charleston, SC; brother, L.W. Hawkins of Charleston, SC; sister, Carline Hawkins of Charleston, SC; eight grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
