Annette Chandler Zimmermann, 67, of Aiken, South Carolina, wife of Gary C Zimmermann entered into eternal rest Wednesday, October 5, 2022. Her Funeral Service will be held Monday, October 10, 2022 in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Downtown Chapel, 232 Calhoun Street at 11:00 am. Interment, Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm in J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Downtown Chapel. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Downtown Chapel.
Annette was born December 8, 1954 in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of the late Hollis Kelly Chandler and the late Betty Jane Bowers. She was an educator in Charleston and Aiken, SC. Annette made a positive impact on students, parents, and fellow educators.
She is survived by her husband Gary Carl Zimmerman; sister, Hollie Maurie Chandler Phillips; step-sons, Matthew Ryan Zimmerman and Robert Andrew Zimmerman; niece Dana Maurie Phillips Sandoz; nephew Dr. Kevin Daniel Phillips; great-nieces Caroline Jane Merrell, Hollis Anne Merrell, and Chandler Phillips; great nephews, Kevin Daniel Merrell and Carson Phillips, sister-in-law, Judy Fiore; nieces, Rachel Fiore and Melanie Fiore; sister-in-law Linda Zimmermann, and brother-in-law Larry Zimmerman, and many, many friends.
Mrs. Zimmerman was much loved and adored as a wife, step-mother, aunt, and a great-aunt. She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Annette’s memory may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
