Annette V. Burn, 79, of Awendaw, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Monday, November 27, 2023. Her memorial service will be held Saturday, December 9, 2023, in the Ocean Grove United Methodist Church, 6517 Highway 17 N at 2:00 pm.  Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Mount Pleasant Chapel.

Annette was born May 31, 1944 on Sullivan's Island, South Carolina, daughter of the late William John Vereen and the late Lucille Lubs Vereen. She enjoyed spending time on the water, dancing to beach music, and socializing with friends at the Charleston Rifle Club, where she was a long time member of the Ladies’ Auxiliary. She was most at home in her kitchen, where she poured her love into delicious food for family and friends, remembering everyone’s favorites for holidays and birthdays. No one ever left her house hungry. What Annette loved the most was having her family all together, and she will be deeply missed by all.

She is survived by her children, Stephanie Harbin (James) of Awendaw, SC, Matthew Burn (Bobbie) of Ravenel, SC and Margaret Burn of Charleston, SC; eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and brothers, Rick Vereen of Conway, SC and Johnny Vereen of Little River, SC. Annette was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband of 34 years, Charles Gordon Burn, Jr.; her grandson, Brandon; and great-grand daughter, Raelynn.

Memorials may be made to the Ocean Grove UMC Food Pantry, 6517 N. Hwy 17, Awendaw, SC 29429.
