Anne Godfrey Turner

Anne Godfrey Turner, 77, of North Charleston, formally of Greensboro, NC, wife of William "Buddy" Buren Turner, Jr. entered into Heaven Monday, June 17, 2024. Her funeral service will be held Friday, June 21, 2024 at Cathedral, 3790 Ashley Phosphate Road at 11:00 am. The family will receive friends following the service. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Northwoods Chapel.

Anne was born November 30, 1946 in Atlanta, GA, daughter of the late William E. Godfrey and the late Virginia Green Godfrey. She always had a soft spirit about her and had such an outreach for helping others. Anne loved her family and was a dedicated outstanding mother and grandmother. 

She is survived by children: William Tucker Turner (Amy) of Lithia, FL, Andrew Derek Turner (Kristin) of Ladson, SC, Luke Woodard Turner (Megan) of Summerville, SC and Whitney Anne Turner Rufty (Ryan) of High Point, NC; grandchildren: Blake Turner, Hunter Turner, Anna Blakely Turner, Kinley Turner, Hadley Turner, Penelope, Amelia Turner, Annalise Turner, Ava Turner, Kailyn Rufty, and Taylor Rufty; siblings: Billy Godfrey of Blue Ridge, GA and Priscilla Bradley of Atlanta, GA.
