Anne R. Fralix McEvoy

Anne R. Fralix McEvoy, 95, of Charleston, SC, wife of Marion R. McEvoy, entered into eternal rest at home with her daughter by her side on Thursday, April 1, 2021. Her funeral service will be held Tuesday, April 6, 2021 in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway, Charleston, SC, 29414, at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow in the Riverview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. Masks are required and social distancing will be observed.
Anne was born March 15, 1926 in Brunswick County, NC, a daughter of the late David and Elizabeth Bennett Ray. Anne loved her church and had a close relationship with her Lord. She also loved working in real estate, running her apartments and gardening. She was a very giving lady. She loved helping others become the best they could be. She loved socializing with her family and friends. She definitely made a grand mark in this world and will truly be missed.
She is survived by her daughter, Cathy L Fralix; her partner, Ricky Bottoms; her step-daughters, Sandra Lewis and Marjorie McWhirter; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Grace on the Ashley Baptist Church, 2014 Bees Ferry Rd, Charleston, SC 29414.
The family would like to thank all caregivers who took care of her over the last five years (you know who you are and all are very special people) and the wonderful, caring, hospice nurse who helped Anne the last couple of weeks.
