Anne "Tootie" M. Grady, 73, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, wife of James J. Grady, Jr. died Sunday, July 31, 2016. Funeral Mass will be held Friday, August 5, 2016 in the St. Benedict Catholic Church, 950 Darrell Creek Trail at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Mount Pleasant Chapel, 1494 Mathis Ferry Rd.

Tootie was born December 17, 1942 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Francis T. Landy and the late Ann Park Landy. She was a longtime resident of Alexandria, VA and moved to Mount Pleasant in 2012 to be near her grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Jim, she is survived by her son, James J. (Sherri) Grady III of Mount Pleasant, SC and daughter, Suzanne Sydnor of Chester, VA; grandchildren, Abbey and Sean Grady; and her brother, Robert (Leslie) Landy and their children, Jesse and Noah, all of Sharon, MA.

She was preceded in death by two of her siblings.
