Anne Mizell Burk, 90, of Charleston, South Carolina, wife of the late John Harry Burk, Jr., entered into eternal rest Thursday, November 24, 2016. Her Funeral Service will be held Monday, November 28, 2016 in St. Barnabas Lutheran Church, 45 Moultrie Street at 2:00 p.m. Interment, Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Pkwy from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Anne was born May 14, 1926 in Harleyville, South Carolina, daughter of the late Matthew Henry "Mac" Mizell and Annie Canady Mizell. She was a retired Insurance Claims Representative through South Atlantic Life Insurance Company, and member of St. Barnabas Lurtheran Church.

She is survived by her two daughters Carol Burk, Charleston, S.C, Susan Burk Postell, Goose Creek, S.C; sister, Mary E. Hink, Brandon, FL; three grandchildren, Bert Postell, Summerville, SC; Jaime P. Thrift (Bryant), Summerville, SC; Eric Postell (Heather), Summerville, SC; two great-grandchildren, Davis Postell, Lauren Postell.
