Anna Lukaswitz Smith

Anna Lukaswitz Smith, 92, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, wife of the late Raymond L. Smith died Friday, December 9, 2016. All services will be held in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. The family will receive friends in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL ON Sunday, December 11, 2016 from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm.

Anna was born May 1, 1924 in Asbury, New Jersey, daughter of the late Martin Lukaswitz and Rosa Kermezian Lukaswitz. She retired from the Bridgewater School District, was actively involved with Catholic Charities and was an enthusiastic member of the Red Hats.

She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Deremer (Alfred) of Mount Pleasant, SC; three grandchildren, Jennifer Deremer, Holly Thompson and David Deremer (Stacey); four great grandchildren, Danielle Deremer, Jamie Deremer, Ernie Wayne Allen and Raeanna Thompson. She was preceded in death by
her parents, husband, daughter, Beverly Roberts, and sisters, Helen Kulina and Estelle Skibb.
