Anna Josephine Sanchez

Anna J. Sanchez, 88, of Seabrook Island, South Carolina, wife of the late Jose Sanchez, passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2013. A Celebration of Anna's Life will be held at the Cottage Plantation Road dock on Friday, May 31, 2013 at 5:00 pm. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR INC. DOWNTOWN CHAPEL.
Mrs. Sanchez was born April 12, 1925 in New York City, New York, daughter of the late Michael and Maria Riviera Babio. A wonderful homemaker, she was devoted to her family and friends. She loved to knit, especially with her friends on Seabrook Island as they made blankets and hats for babies in the hospital. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles - in ink, and loved art and classical music.
She is survived by her children, Jan Michael Sanchez (Deborah) of Medford, NY, Candace Magee of San Diego, CA, Stacy Gould (Scott) of Johns Island, SC, and David Sanchez (Loretta) of Centereach, NY; her grandchildren, Jan Sanchez, Lindsey Sanchez, Ana Magee, Gracie Magee, Scott Gould, Will Gould, and Graham Gould; and her great-granddaughters, Sophia Sanchez and Isabella Sanchez. Anna was preceded in death by her son, Jose Sanchez.
