Anna Margaret Martin

Anna Margaret Martin, 98, of Johns Island, SC, widow of Howard A. Martin, entered into eternal rest Friday, May 1, 2015. Her Funeral Service will be held Friday, May 8, 2015, in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway, at 4:00 p.m. Inurnment will be held Saturday, May 9, 2015, in Live Oak Memorial Gardens at 11:30 a.m. The family will receive friends Friday from 3:00 p.m. until service time at the chapel.

Anna was born February 12, 1917 in Chattanooga, Tennessee, the daughter of Joseph T. Reynolds and Emma Reynolds. She was a retired operator in the telecommunications field. Anna was the long time organist at the former Pierpont Baptist Church.

She is survived by her two step-sons, James L. Martin and his wife, Sherry, of Jackson, MS and Ernest Martin and his wife, Lucy Dunn Martin, of Seven Lakes, NC; a granddaughter, Ryan Elizabeth Martin of Shelby, NC and a grandson, Joshua Martin of Mt. Pleasant, SC. She was preceded in death by her son, Joseph Reynolds Martin and her step-son, Howard D. Martin.
