Anna Katherine Pease Anderegg

Anna Katherine Pease Anderegg, 86, of Sullivan's Island, South Carolina, wife of the late Charles Melvin Anderegg, died Monday, March 28, 2016. Her Funeral Service will be held Monday, April 4, 2016 in Sullivan's Island Baptist Church, 1753 Central Avenue at 2:00 pm. Inurnment will follow in Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday, April 3, 2016 in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road from 4:00 to 6:00 pm.

Anna was born November 12, 1929 in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of the late William Arthur Pease and the late Charlotte Christine Constance Danielsen Pease. She was a graduate of Roper Hospital School of Nursing and worked in the Charleston County Hospital. Anna was very active in the Sullivan's Island Elementary School, was a former PTA President and an original member of the East Cooper Hospital Board of Directors. She was also a longtime member of Sullivan's Island Baptist Church.

She is survived by two sons, Charles Melvin (Kathleen) Anderegg, Jr. of Mount Pleasant, SC, Jonathan Conrad (Elizabeth) Anderegg of Sullivan's Island, SC; daughter, Dr. Katherine Ann Anderegg of Sullivan's Island, SC; two granddaughters, Bailey Wise Anderegg of Sulphur, OK and Reid Christine Anderegg Richards of Cincinnati, OH; two brothers, William Arthur Pease, Jr. of North Charleston, SC and Walter Thorwald (Barbara) Pease of Huntsville, AL. Anna was predeceased by her sister-in-law and close friend, Marian B. Pease.
