Ann Hay Thomas (Mammy), 90, of Yonges Island, South Carolina, went peacefully into the arms of her Lord and Savior on October 6, 2019. She was a devoted wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved autumn and football and especially her Clemson Tigers. She was loved by many and brought joy to everyone around her. She was a true servant of her Savior Jesus Christ and always put others before herself.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Arthur Lee Thomas, Jr. She is survived by two daughters, Marian Thomas Taylor (Alvin) of Yonges Island, South Carolina, Rhoda Thomas Sims (Beau) of Dalton, Georgia, and a daughter of her heart, Olivia Smith; four grandchildren: Lee Worth Taylor (Rebecca) , Ann Wyatt Taylor Bernshausen (Adam), Vivian Legare Sims, and Jarvis Lee Sims (Ashley); great-grandchildren: Grady, Ada-Legare, and Ann-Elise Taylor, and Daniel and Marian Bernshausen. She is also survived by one sister, Lydia Hay Pedersen, of John's Island and many beloved nieces and nephews.
The family will have a private service.
