Ann Way Strickland, 89, of Charleston, South Carolina, widow of Vernon Brantley Strickland, entered into eternal rest, Wednesday, April 2, 2014. Her Funeral Service will be held Saturday, April 5, 2014, in Westminster Presbyterian Church, 1157 Sam Rittenberg Boulevard at 1:00 p.m.. Interment, Magnolia Cemetery. The family will receive friends, Friday, April 4, 2014, from 4:00 p.m until 6:00 p.m in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Downtown Chapel.

Ann was born March 21, 1925, in Dorchester, South Carolina, the daughter of Barney Rhett Way and Lillian Mount Way. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, a member of the Country Club of Charleston, and she enjoyed her time at the Carolina Yacht Club.

She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia S. Harton of Wadmalaw, SC; her son, William Terry Strickland, and his wife Nancy, of Hollywood, SC, six grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
