Ann Hill Phillips, 83, of Ladson, South Carolina, wife of the late Will R. Phillips, entered into eternal rest Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The family will receive friends Sunday, May 26, 2024 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. West Ashley Chapel. Burial will be private.
 
Ann was born August 8, 1940 in Berkeley County, South Carolina, daughter of the late James Henry Hill and Helen Burkett Hill. She retired with 32 years of dedicated civil service. Ann enjoyed her flower garden. She loved crafts and gave her beautiful crocheted blankets to all her family and friends. She loved her family and was a devoted care giver to them. She will be remembered as a wonderful mother, daughter, sister and friend who was always there when needed, offering support, wisdom and love in abundance. She was a loyal friend and a cherished grandmother and great-grandmother. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, strength, style and grace.
 
She is survived by two daughters, Carla Phillips Thomson of Ladson, SC, Melinda Ann Phillips (Marc) of New York, NY; two sisters, Carol Hill Cone of Summerville, SC and Gwendolyn Hill Kastel of Charleston, SC; two grandchildren, Alyssa Katelynne Osmer (Christopher), and Matthew Phillip Thomson (Stephanie); and one great-grandson Easton Richard Osmer.
