Ann Palo Narcisso

March 10, 1911 — April 17, 2012

Ann Palo Narcisso, 101, wife of the late James Vincent Narcisso, died peacefully at home on Tuesday, April 17, 2012. Ann and Jim were married for 64 years. The relatives and friends of Ann Narcisso are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, April 19, 2012 in Christ Our King Catholic Church, 1122 Russell Drive, Mt. Pleasant, SC at 10:00 am. The Prayers of Final Commendation and Farewell will follow in Mt. Pleasant Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL.

Ann was born on March 10, 1911 in Oliphant, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Joseph and Antonia Nino Palo. She and Jim moved to Mount Pleasant, South Carolina in 1982 to be near their son, with whom she has lived for the last nine years. Ann will always be remembered for planning the annual "Palo Picnic" which remained a special memory for all the family. She was a woman of hospitality and will always be remembered for her wonderful homemade pasta meals and her "pizzelle" cookies.

She will be greatly missed by her son, William "Bill" James Narcisso and his wife, Sandy, of Mt. Pleasant, SC; one granddaughter, Dana (Narcisso) Hughes and her husband Monty, of Mt. Pleasant, SC; one grandson, Andrew "Andy" J. Narcisso and his wife, Tiffany, of Mt. Pleasant, SC; twin great grandsons, Jacob Elliott Hiller and Lucas William Hiller; two step-great grandchildren, Whitney Hughes and Alyssa Hughes; a sister Pauline Dolan and a brother Vincent Palo. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Ann was preceded in death by her sisters, Margaret Dionisi and Rose Taylor and two brothers, Joseph Palo and Elmer Palo. She was blessed to have a wonderful friend, Dolly Thomason, with whom she enjoyed many lunches and outings. She enjoyed her time with her many friends from Christ Our King Catholic Church.

The family would like to express a special thank you to the nurses and staff of Piedmont Hospice and Visiting Angels for all their dedication to Miss Ann.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Christ Our King Catholic Church Senior Ministry, "The Beach House Fund," 1149 Russell Drive, Mt. Pleasant, SC 29464.
