Ann Padgett Low

Ann Legare Padgett Low, 79, of Edisto Island, South Carolina, wife of Joseph T. Low, entered into eternal rest Saturday, June 14, 2014. Her Funeral Service will be held Saturday, June 21, 2014 in The Presbyterian Church On Edisto Island, 2164 Hwy 174 at 11:00 am. Interment to follow in the church cemetery. Arrangements by J. Ann was born March 14, 1935 in Laurens, South Carolina, daughter of the late Louie Padgett and Legare Blackwell Padgett. She was a loving wife and mother, gourmet cook and avid traveler. She was an active member of The Presbyterian Church On Edisto Island and involved in mission work. Ann was a member and officer in various community organizations. She will be truly missed by her family and all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her husband, Joe Low of Edisto Island; daughters, Catherine Schmitz (Larry) of Savannah, GA, Rebecca Mashburn (Jay) of Grand Junction, CO; sons, Joseph T. Low, Jr. (Cathy) of Denver, CO, Michael D. Low (Victoria) of Evanston, IL. She was also loved by 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
