Ann DeVane LeFevre

Ann DeVane LeFevre, aged 84, passed away peacefully on January 27, 2024 after a brief illness. Ann was born on July 29, 1939 in Walterboro, SC to Howard and Elizabeth DeVane. She attended Walterboro schools and graduated from Charlton County High School in Folkston, GA. She received her Bachelor's Degree in education from Valdosta State College.

Ann is survived by her beloved husband of 63 years, William H. "Bill" LeFevre, her daughter Beth Hendrix, daughter and son in law Paige and Greg Mitts, granddaughter and grandson-in-law Liza and Jason Tillman, great grandson Connor Tillman and her brother and sister-in-law David and Ellaine DeVane. She is predeceased by her parents, son-in-law Jim Hendrix and great-grandson Jude Tillman.

Ann touched the lives of many with her grace, quick wit, beauty and charm. She was an exemplary Air Force wife with a gift for turning each and every place she lived into "home". She was active in many social and civic organizations including the Huguenot Society of South Carolina and Daughter's of the American Revolution.

Funeral will be held at 1:30 am on Saturday February 10, 2024 at J. Henry Stuhr Downtown Chapel 232 Calhoun Street Charleston, SC 29401 with visitation from 11:30 am - 1:30 pm.
