Ann Edwins Bohlen, 81, of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, wife of the late A. W. "Fedie" Bohlen, Jr. died peacefully at her home on Monday, December 30, 2013 with all of her children present. The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 4, 2013 at the home of Kris and Billy Topping beginning at 1pm, 1414 Diamond Blvd., Mt. Pleasant, S.C. 29466. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC. "Miss Ann" was born on December 28, 1932 in Orangeburg, South Carolina, daughter of the late William Aulton Edwins and the late Henrietta Oliver Edwins. She graduated from Orangeburg High School, Class of 1951, where she was crowned Miss Freshman.
She was a homemaker for 43 years, then worked in the hospitality industry as a Hostess in local restaurants.
"Miss Ann" is survived by her daughter, Kris Topping (Billy); sons: W. Michael Bohlen, Steven E. Bohlen and J. Donovan Bohlen (Sussan); brother, W. A. "Lefty" Edwins, Jr. (Jean), seven grandchildren: W.P. Topping, II, Hobie Bohlen, Jeremiah Bohlen, Joshua Bohlen, Mark Bohlen, Alejandra M. Bohlen and Lynne T. Bohlen.
