Ann "BB" Richardson Pearson

Ann "BB" Richardson Pearson, 73, of Isle of Palms, SC, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on January 29, 2018 at Roper Hospital, Charleston, SC. Her funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2018 in the First Baptist Church of Mount Pleasant, 681 McCants Drive at 3:00 pm. The family will receive friends at the church from 2:00 pm until time of the service. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL.

Ann, daughter of the late James M. (Bobby) Richardson and Bera Floyd Richardson, was born on March 23, 1944 in Aynor, South Carolina. She was a 1962 graduate of Moultrie High School, along with raising her children and teaching Sunday School, she enjoyed working reception in local family medical practices. Ann was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Mount Pleasant. "BB" was a faithful follower of all of the events in her grandchildren's lives, never missing an event or an opportunity to cheer them on.

Ann is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Leroy A. Pearson, Jr., her beloved daughter, Jamie Pearson Hankins (Daniel Harrison Hankins, II) of Mt. Pleasant, SC. She was adored by her grandchildren, who affectionately called her "BB", Hannah Lee Hankins, Daniel Harrison Hankins, III and Henry Legare Hankins. Her siblings include, Gail Richardson Thorn (Noel) of Awendaw, SC, Kenneth Wayne Richardson of Huger, SC, and Lynn Richardson Harju (David) of Mt. Pleasant, SC. Her nieces and nephews include, Kim Moorer McDermott, Teri Moorer Howard, Kimberley Richardson Couch, John Warren Richardson, Jr., Tracy Thorn Thornley, Kelly Thorn Campbell, N. David Thorn, Jr., Christopher D. Harju and Brian P. Harju. She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter Leigh Ann Pearson, parents and two older brothers, James M. Richardson, Jr. and John Warren Richardson as well as her father and mother-in-law Leroy A. Pearson and Myrtle Potter Pearson.
