Anita Harriet Pianko, 89, of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, widow of Morris Pianko entered into eternal rest Friday, August 16, 2013. Interment will be held in B'nai B'rith Cemetery in Worcester, MA. Arrangements by Callahan and Fay Brothers Funeral Home,61 Myrtle St., Worcester, MA. Local arrangements by J.HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway.
Anita was born August 5, 1924 in New York, NY, daughter of the late Abraham Kassel and Cecelia Demby Kassel. She was a retired secretary for Miami Dade County Police Department.
She is survived by two daughters, Arlene Westling and Leah Sparks of Charleston SC; one son Steven Pianko (Cheryl) of Fishersville, VA; two grandchildren, Christina Walker of Savannah, GA and Jason Sparks of Jeromesville, OH.
