Anita Jane Krisher

Anita Jane Krisher, 85, of Charleston, South Carolina, wife of the late Thomas Eugene Krisher entered into eternal rest Sunday, March 13, 2016. Her Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, March 16, 2016 in the Lutheran Church of The Redeemer, 714 Riverdale Drive at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends in the church from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway.

Anita was born August 22, 1930 in Newburgh, New York, daughter of the late Frederick Hutwelker and Elise Mueller Hutwelker. She graduated from Cazenovia College in NY. She was a member of the Red Hat Society, and volunteered for many years at TriCounty Ministries. Anita was also a member of the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer.

She is survived by her three daughters, Lisa Krisher (Jack Batson) of Augusta, GA, Lynn Krisher Bowers (Michael), and Beth Krisher Parks both of Charleston, SC; son, Richard Eugene Krisher (Ann) of Quakertown, PA; six grandchildren, J.T Batson, William Batson, Kali Bowers, Jamie Bowers, Richard Krisher, and Eric Krisher. She is predeceased by her grandson, Jeffrey David Caccavella, and twin brother, Frederick Lee Hutwelker.

The family would like to thank her Piedmont Hospice nurses and private duty caregivers, especially Dorothy Todd. Special thanks to Pastor Ryan Lyles for his comfort and support, and her church family.
