Anita Gat-eb Cabiad, 84, of Hanahan, SC, widow of Fermin P. Cabiad, Sr., died Tuesday, October 19, 2010, in a local nursing home.

Born November 2, 1925 in Ilocos Sur, Philippines she was the daughter of Anacleto Gat-eb and Thomasa Camzo Gat-eb.  She was a member of Iglesia Ni Cristo Church of Christ.

Mrs. Cabiad is survived by her children:  Lolita Cabiad of Sacramento, CA, Fermin Cabiad, Jr. and his wife Myrna, Renee Cabiad, Reynaldo Cabiad and his wife Elizabeth all of North Charleston, SC, Edward Cabiad and his wife Benilda of Virginia Beach, VA and Shirley Tuten and her husband Michael of Ladson, SC; daughter-in-law, Carmencita Cabiad of North Charleston, SC; eleven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband and her son, Ernesto G. Cabiad.

The graveside funeral service will be held at Riverview Memorial Park, Saturday, October 23, 2010 at 11:00 AM.  The family will receive friends in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road, Thursday and Friday between 7:00 and 9:00 PM.
