Angeline Dorothy Engeman Stout, 80, of Isle of Palms, South Carolina, wife of William Ward Stout died Sunday, July 13, 2014. The relatives and friends of Angeline Dorothy Stout are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, July 17, 2014 in Stella Maris Catholic Church on Sullivan's Island at 11:00 am. Prayers of Final Commendation and Farewell will follow in Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL FROM 6:00 until 8:00 pm. The Rosary will be recited at 6:00 pm.
Angeline was born June 26, 1934 in Montrose, Missouri, daughter of the late August J. Engeman and the late Cecilia M. Kirsch Engeman. She was a member of Stella Maris Catholic Church where she was active in the Women's Club. She taught CCD Classes, was a volunteer at the Stella Maris Christ Our King School in Mt. Pleasant and Bishop England High School. Angeline was employed as Secretary at Stella Maris Catholic Church.
She is survived by her husband, William W. Stout of Isle of Palms, SC; three daughters, Ann Marie Shealy of Greenville, SC, Pamela Sue Carter of Ocean Springs, MS, and Cecelia Mary Ward of Mt. Pleasant, SC; three sons, Jeffrey William Stout of Dumas, TX, Philip John Stout of Roseville, MN, and William Edward Stout of Reevesville, SC; one sister, Evelyn Light of Independence, MO; fifteen grandchildren and one great grandchild.
