Mrs. Trent was born November 21, 1963, in Charleston, SC, the daughter of the late John Albert Meyer, Sr. and Gail Kicklighter Meyer. She attended the College of Charleston and the Medical University of South Carolina. She was a member of Martin Luther Lutheran Church and was a Librarian at Calvary Day School in Savannah, GA.

She is survived by her Mother of Charleston, SC; Husband: John D. Trent of Savannah, GA; Son: Zachary D. Trent of Savannah, GA; Daughter: Kaitlyn E.Trent of Savannah, GA; Sister: Kay M. Ake of Charleston, SC; Brother: John Albert Meyer, Jr. of Charleston, SC.
