Angela Swanson Graves, 69, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, wife of Newman Samuel Allen, Jr. died Tuesday, October 3, 2017. Her Funeral Service will be held Saturday, October 7, 2017 in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road at 11:00 am. Interment will be at a later date in Iowa. The family will receive friends at the Mount Pleasant Chapel on Saturday from 10:00 am until time of the service.

Angela was born January 7, 1948 in Clarinda, Iowa, daughter of the late Paul Amos Weldon Swanson and the late Blanche Rose Miller Swanson. She attended Kansas State University and was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, N. Samuel "Sam" Allen, Jr. of Mt. Pleasant, SC; son, Andrew P. Leilich (Katie) of Charleston, SC; four grandchildren, Tyler Cobia, Liza Leilich, Lucas Leilich and Liam Leilich; and two sisters, Midge McComb of Clarinda, IA and Carol Richie of Wichita, KS.
