Andrew Thomas Wingate

Andrew "Andy" Thomas Wingate, 31, of Johns Island, SC, entered into eternal rest on the morning of April 28, 2011.  The relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at the graveside in Riverview Memorial Park, Friday, May 8, 2011 at 12:00 noon. Friends may call at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL Friday between 9:30 and 11:30 am.

Mr. Wingate was born October 9, 1979, in Charleston, SC, the son of William Elias Wingate and Anne Dollard Wingate.  He was a graduate of James Island High School.  He retired as a carpenter and landscaper. 

He is survived by three sisters: Eileen A. Traynham of Charleston, SC, Suzanne Ellen Clark (Ernest) of Johns Island, SC and Kelly L. Wingate of Moncks Corner, SC; one brother: William E. Wingate, Jr. of James Island, SC; one uncle: Philip F. Wingate (Diana) of James Island, SC; two aunts: Jacqueline W. Walker (Earl) of Ravenel, SC; Elizabeth W. Kinlaw (Jamey of Bonneau Beach, SC; several nieces and nephews; ; and his beloved dog, Briggs.
