Andrew Jervey Morris, 65, of Charleston, South Carolina entered into eternal rest Friday, December 11, 2015. His Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, December 15, 2015 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 10:00 a.m. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service. Burial following will be in Live Oak Memorial Gardens.
Jervey was born December 16, 1949 in Charlotte, North Carolina, son of Joseph Delgod Morris and Lillie Mae Bell Morris. He was a US Army veteran of Vietnam and was a recipient of the Distinguished Flying Cross, First Air Cavalry, Silver Star, and a Purple Heart. He was a member of the VFW Post 445, American Legion Post #147, and was a retired Commercial Fisherman.
He is survived by his former spouse Kaye Morris of N. Charleston; brother Tony Morris (Debbie); four daughters; Kim Cone, Keri McDaniel, Angela Lyerly,and Brandi Morris all of James Island ; ten grandchildren, three great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by two brothers Jody D. Morris, Jr. and Al Morris.
