Andrew Connor Earl, 26, passed away on May 2, 2025. A deeply caring and endlessly curious soul, Andrew brought light and creativity into the world through everything he touched-from computers to harmonicas, from gardens to global friendships.
Born on December 2, 1998, Andrew had a vibrant mind and a generous heart. He was a true computer geek in the best sense-always eager to learn new programming languages, explore video game worlds, and take on personal challenges like studying Spanish and Russian just for the joy of it. He played the harmonica, practiced welding, and never stopped trying something new.
Andrew graduated from Trident Technical College and was pursuing a degree in Computer Science at the College of Charleston. His passion for building connections extended far beyond the classroom-he co-founded and funded a piggery business with a friend in Ghana, exemplifying his commitment to helping others succeed.
A lover of nature, Andrew found peace in gardening and was especially passionate about protecting monarch butterflies. His kind heart, quiet brilliance, and sense of humor will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his loving mother, Elaine Earl; his father, G. Shawn Earl; his stepmother, Chris Earl; his grandmother, Jane Harmon; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins who cherished him deeply.
A public viewing will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway. A pizza and ice cream reception will follow-just the way Andrew would've wanted.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Andrew's honor to a monarch butterfly conservation group or a charity of your choice.
