Andrew "Andy" Clarence Catterton

Andrew "Andy" Clarence Catterton, 83, of Hollywood, South Carolina, husband of Shelba Smith Catterton entered into eternal rest Sunday, November 13, 2016. His Funeral Service will be held Friday, November 18, 2016 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 1:00 p.m. Entombment will follow in Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday in Stuhr's West Ashley Chapel from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Andy was born February 16, 1933 in Dorchester County, South Carolina, son of the late John M. Catterton and Annie Mae Dunn Catterton. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran. Andy retired from the Charleston County Maintenance Department.

He is survived by his wife, Shelba Catterton of Hollywood, SC; three sons, Gary Catterton, Steven Catterton, and Barrett Catterton all of Charleston, SC; two sisters, Louise Douglas of Charlotte, NC and Inez Davis of Summerville, SC; three grandchildren, Andrew, Jack, and Steven Catterton; two step-daughters, Jan Buice (John) of Johns Island, SC, and Sherri Lero (Stephen) of James Island, SC; stepson, Richard Hough (Melissa) of Meggett, SC.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Victory Baptist Church, 335 Woodland Shores Road, Charleston, SC 29412.
