Andrew Daniel Barnett

Andrew Daniel Barnett, 31 years young, passed away on November 18th, 2022 following a catastrophic fall. Andrew, or Drew as we mostly called him, was raised in South Orange County, California in the City of Mission Viejo. He was the life of a party making friends of all kinds in all corners and exuding nothing but confidence and kindness. Oh the stories we could share of the too large a party being thrown, the going too fast on the jet ski, the drifting his two-seater too close to parked cars, the scuba diving too deep while exploring the underworld. He lived life to the max yet alienated none. He relocated to Charleston, SC with his best friend and bride, Lauren Barnett (Guth). Drew, now Captain Andrew Barnett of the Dewees Island Ferry, was at the pinnacle of his life when tragedy struck. Fortunately he was still able to fulfill his final wish in life of being a significant Organ Donor. Because of this selflessness he saved 4 lives, gave sight to 2, and bettered countless others. He is survived by his wife, Lauren the love of his life, his younger brother Sam his other best friend and life’s constant, his parents Tammi and Ethan Barnett, and Andy and Karen Guth, and Lauren’s younger brother, Sean.

Andrew will be cremated and we will be having celebrations of his life at Noon Saturday February 11, 2023 at his parents’ residence in the greater Charleston area of South Carolina.  For the address, email ethanbarnett1961@gmail.com.
