Andrea Louise McNaughton Young

Andrea Louise McNaughton Young, 82, of Charleston, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest on Friday, June 27, 2025. Her Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, July 2, 2025 in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., West Ashley Chapel at 12:00 pm, and the family will receive friends prior beginning at 10:00 am. Burial will follow in Live Oak Memorial Gardens.

Andrea was born December 29, 1942 in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of the late Robert William McNaughton and Nell Vera Barrs. She was a good and faithful servant to her church and family. In addition to being a retired school teacher of St. Andrew’s Parish High School of 35 years, and Charlestowne Academy Charter HS, she was a realtor, and mentor to many. Her true love language was music having sung in numerous churches and opera houses from youth to adulthood.

She is survived by her daughter, Stephanie Young Jellico (Jerry); son, Robert Andrew Young; sisters, Thelma Horres and Bonnie Neel Kuhlman; three grandsons, Brandon, Sean and Christian; five great-grandchildren; five nieces and two nephews.

Memorial donations can be made in Andrea's memory to her church Advent Lutheran Church, 1601 Eagle Landing, Hanahan, SC 29410.
