Ana Maria Valverde, 66, of Johns Island, SC, passed away on January 6th after a seven-year battle with lung cancer. It was God's will and Ana's fearless personality that gave her the power to enjoy her grandchildren, which she deeply loved. The family will receive friends Friday, January 10, 2020 in J. Henry Stuhr Inc., West Ashley Chapel from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Her funeral service will be held at ISP Cristo Viene Church, 5704 Savannah Hwy at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in ISP Cristo Viene Church Cemetery.
Ana was born on August 26th, 1953 to Antonio Valverde and Maria Assillo in Mendoza, Argentina. In 1969, she met the love of her life, Sergio Pacheco, and they wed on January 30th, 1971, where they became the proud parents of four loving children.
Ana Maria was such a devote Christian that she uprooted her family to the United States to serve in the ministry. She passionately dedicated her life to serve God becoming an ordained minister and started three churches in South Carolina.
Ana Maria is predeceased by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Sergio; her four children, Claudio Pacheco, Silvana Pacheco, Andrea Pacheco and Alberto Pacheco; her daughters-in-law, Gabriela Mena and Elsa Mendez, her son-in-law, Jorge Hernandez, and her ten grandchildren, Juan Manuel, Alberto, Agustin, Luciana, Valentina, Tomas, Juliana, Martina, Emilia and Isabella.
