Amiee Turner Slesinski

Amiee Turner Slesinski, 52, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, wife of Stephen Robert Slesinski entered into eternal rest Sunday, August 28, 2022. Her funeral service will be held Saturday, September 3 in Mt. Pleasant at the Church at LifePark located at 1151 George Browder Blvd at 11:30 am.  The family will receive friends Friday September 2, 2022, in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Mt. Pleasant Chapel, 1494 Mathis Ferry Rd. from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
 
Amiee was born January 9, 1970, in Greenville, South Carolina, daughter of Connie McCoy Turner and the late John Allen Turner.  Besides being a loving wife to Stephen and wonderful mother to Nathan and Matthew, Amiee spent the majority of her career in service to others as a Surgical Nurse with the Medical University of South Carolina after graduating from nursing school at Clemson University in 1993, where her two beloved sons now also attend. Amiee loved spending time with family and friends, especially enjoying Clemson sports.  She also loved to travel, having taken several trips abroad with her family over the years.
 
She is survived by her loving husband of 20 years, Stephen Robert Slesinski of Mt. Pleasant, SC; children, Matthew Slesinski of Mt. Pleasant, Nathaniel Slesinski of Mt. Pleasant; mother, Connie Turner of Mt. Pleasant, SC; sister, Ashley Austin (Rich) of Woodstock, GA; and niece, Claire Austin. Amiee is preceded in death by her father, John Allen Turner.
 
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that Memorials be made to the Amiee Turner Slesinski Fund established to provide nursing scholarships to students who aspire to serve others as Amiee did.  Checks may be made payable to The Amiee Turner Slesinski Fund c/o Finemark Bank 865 Island Park Dr. Charleston, SC 29492.  Also, for this purpose, a GoFundMe page has been created for the fund and may be accessed at <http://gofund.me/6e3489b3>.
